We started our herd with female breeding stock from the best Boer
Goat breeders in the UK and imported our first buck from Europe
autumn 2011.

We now have a mixure of 100% Red Boer Does, 100% Traditional coloured Boer Does and a 100% South African bloodline Boer Buck. In 2012 we also imported a full coloured young 100% Red Buck as well as a 100% Traditional coloured young Buck. Both are coming along nicely.

All our goats have free access to grazing during the day and are housed at night with hay and straw.
We feed them a tasty goat mix, it supplies them with vitamins and minerals they need and they get the copper they require from a red lick, it's never a problem calling them in when you have a mug of mix to tempt them with, it also keeps them friendly and easy to handle especially when it comes to foot trimming!! We work hard to make sure our goats are the best they can be.

All our goats are regularly wormed, fully Lambivac vacinated and CAE free - we are C.A.E. Accredited with the Scottish Agricultural College (SACS) we have been in their C.A.E. program since we started, we give a certificate of confirmation from SAC with every sale, we don't need to be tested again until 2014.
